THE POSITION:

We are looking for a talented duty media creator living local to Milton Keynes to do work on a flexible part-time basis on a variety of aspects of filming, Adobe / AE editing, some 3D animation using Blender, live-streaming, and digital media production as a duty cameraperson.

ABOUT THE JOB:

You’ll join a company established in 2010 with consistent 5-star ratings, based in modern prestigious modern offices in the heart of Milton Keynes business district. This is more than a video production job. It’s a chance to earn a partnership within the next 2-3 years and you will be coached and mentored in all aspects of commercial media management. Plus can earn a generous commission when you help fidn and win new business. The job requires occasional travel around the UK so ideally, you need to have a car and a driving license and we will cover travel expenses, hotels, fuel, and out-of-pocket costs.

Hours per week will vary by negotiation depending on your education or other commitments but will range from 3 days a week to full-time.

The job is varied and entails working on delivering of short videos on news, training, and animation, plus supporting live-casting. You will be trained in our proven methods for fast production. You will already be adept and super fast editing techniques, using macros and AI-driven automation and be keen to learn some of our own techniques.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • MUST already live locally to Milton Keynes – NO applicants wanting to relocate will be accepted.
  • You MUST already have GREAT examples of live-action videography, motion graphics that have modern punchy style suitable for YouTube.
  • You will need to have high standards of BOTH spoken and written English.
  • Already proficient with Adobe Premiere Editing Suite and ideally After Effects.
  • Proof you can generate fast edits of high quality in batches.
  • Proof of decent video editing – you’ll need to send us your best show-reel!

WHO SHOULD APPLY?

You may be an apprentice whilst doing part-time media studies, or you may have left college and have a year or more experience. You may also be self-employed and just looking for extra work to help with cash flow.

The fact is that education is important but talent is even more important, so if you are a 19-year-old college leaver who’s been editing since they were 11 years old with a great showreel then we’d love to talk to you. Equally, we’re keen to see Graduates looking for a place to build their first years of commercial experience in a supportive and creative environment.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

You also need to present excellent English. Badly written CVs and cover letters with poor grammar and spelling mistakes will be rejected.

You need to have a strong work ethic and integrity and we will check you previous references!

We need to see great examples of showreels, YouTube videos, and ideally commercial projects.

You also need to be a team worker able to care and work with others with a caring, positive, and healthy mental attitude.

You will be given on-the-job training and support to strengthen your skills.

Salary: £14.00-£15.50 per hour
