Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor & Production Assistant to join our team. This hybrid role combines the art of video storytelling with the technical skills of video production. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling video content, a knack for visual storytelling, and the technical ability to support video productions from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.) to create engaging and compelling stories.
  • Design and animate motion graphics to enhance video content.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of video shoots, including setting up lights, cameras, teleprompters, and audio equipment.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards.
  • Support the production team in logistical planning and execution, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available and functioning for shoots.
  • Manage and organize video assets, including archiving and retrieval for future use.
  • Stay updated on the latest video editing techniques and production technologies.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to propose new ideas for video content.
  • Ensure all produced content meets the company’s quality standards and brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Basic understanding of video production equipment and setups, including lighting, camera operation, and sound recording.
  • Experience in designing and animating motion graphics.
  • Strong storytelling skills, with the ability to convey messages effectively through video.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative and open to learning and experimenting with new editing techniques and production methods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • have the ability to assist with film production.

Work Environment

Most days are in the office (Mon – Thur) however, we are available to work from home on Fridays. During training, the full 5 days are in the office. After the training period with management’s approval, team members can move to this schedule if they choose. The office is open all days, so team members can come into the office if they wish.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $54,000.00 per year
