As a Podcast Video Editor at Progressive Media you will play a pivotal role in shaping our podcast content through expert editing and creative storytelling. You’ll work closely with our production team to ensure the seamless execution of each episode, from logging footage to delivering polished final cuts. This role requires a combination of technical proficiency, creative vision, and strong communication skills.

You will be responsible for editing multicam podcast interviews, logging footage, colour grading, creating social media clips, liaising with clients, and crafting captivating content.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will liaise closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements, ensuring the delivery of compelling narratives and visuals that resonate with our target audience as well as with our in-house team and freelancers to curate compelling social media content that aligns with our brand image.

Your creative touch will be crucial in producing captivating social media clips, enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across various platforms.

With an acute eye for detail, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimising content on social media, ensuring our visual storytelling aligns seamlessly with the essence of our brand.

The role:

  • Create dynamic and varied content for a variety of podcast clients
  • Keep up to date with current social media trends and obtain feedback and analytics on our content and look at how we can improve
  • Work closely with members of the media team to create captivating content
  • Edit and distribute projects to agreed specifications and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines/scheduling changes.
  • Manage your work schedule effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure expertise in professional audio and/or video editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
  • Keep track of and learn from other influencers in the industry.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

· Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in editing multicam footage and producing high-quality content.

· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.

· Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

· Passion for podcasting and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

· Experience in full Adobe Suite desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
