Job Summary:

The candidate will provide operational and creative support for the localization (dubbing) of product across several Disney lines of business in Italy.

Responsibilities will include: general operational support, organizing timing and deliveries, working closely with dubbing studio, DCVI EMEA and Global office and all interested Italian LoBs.

  • Creative and operational support of DCVI titles
  • Creative and operational support of Trailers, TV Spot, Digital and Social Assets
  • Creative and operational support for KNP and Translation Verifications
  • Operational support with talent management
  • Updating Disney databases
  • Supervising metadata fulfilment and timely delivery
  • Supervise schedules with local studios to ensure that dubs are delivering as per the agreed due dates on Disney’s tracking system, while allowing for full creative approval at every stage of the dubbing process
  • Contracts tracking (send receive).

The candidate may also be expected to take on sole responsibility for the delivery of certain ancillary projects eg Consumer Products etc.

Candidate will report formally to Creative Manager in Italy, and will be expected to work closely with all the DCVI Italian team .

Skills and Competences Required

Desiderable:

  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Reliable in dealing with sensitive and protected information
  • Good technical knowledge of Audio and Video / Film
  • High level of organisational ability
  • Good communication skills across a varied and international group of people; the ability to relate to individuals and groups across all levels of the company including senior executives
  • Good presentational skills with Power Point and similar tools
  • Demonstrable flexibility in approach in dealing with local offices, studios and talent agencies
  • Attention to details
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Passion for Cinema and TV
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Willing to travel
  • Creative attitude and willingness to learn dubbing skills
  • Master’s Degree in Humanistic or Economic Field, with specific curricula in Art, Culture and Movie
