Social Media Video Editor

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating compelling, high-quality video content for social media platforms. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing both long-form and short-form content for social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and more

Responsibilities:
– Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and seamless integration of audio and visual elements
– Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and objectives
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
– Incorporate motion graphics, 3D animation, and visual effects as needed
– Enhance video quality through color correction, audio adjustments, and other post-production techniques
– Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
– Manage video files, organize assets, and maintain an efficient workflow
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques and software

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
– Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer
– Strong understanding of post-production processes including color grading, audio mixing, and visual effects
– Solid knowledge of photo editing tools such as Capture One, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Bridge
– Familiarity with motion graphics software like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus
– Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts
