Video Editor/Podcast Editor

• Mile Higher Media is a media production company with a reputation for outstanding digital content. We are seeking a talented videographer/editor to join our production team.
• Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience working in a professional environment on digital media
• Bachelor’s degree in a media-related study
• Preferred or equivalent combination of education and years of experience
• Requires advanced knowledge and experience using DaVinci Resolve 18 and other Blackmagicdesign applications
• Shooting video using DSLRs, GoPros, Smartphones, Blackmagic, Prosumer
• Knowledge of composition, lighting, and shooting
• Animation skills a plus
• Experience with image types, frame rates, and aspect rations as they pertain to digital media platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram/Facebook Reels
• Ability to adapt and be flexible with changing timelines and deadlines
• Required to be living in Colorado, where you are able to commute to the office each week
• Must be willing to sign an NDA
• Responsibilities
• Editing raw video and audio podcast footage for distribution to YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, etc.
• Organizing raw footage, media, and video projects
• Work on multiple projects at once with various deadlines occasionally on-location
• Input music, b-roll, effects, & transitions to various projects
• Implement postproduction color & audio correction
• Continuously discover new ways to improve the content to meet high industry standards.
• Manage and organize video files
• Implement feedback given by the producer and hosts
• Work closely with producers and hosts to create a final product that matches their vision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
