Production Assistant – Vancouver Expression of interest

We are looking for Production Assistants for several exciting TV and Feature Film projects coming up in the next year.

Wētā FX is the standard-bearer for creativity and innovation in visual effects and animation, attracting talent, partners and clients that seek to push what is possible in pursuit of their artistic vision.

As a Production Assistant you will be responsible for various administration functions on a project, ensuring the smooth day-to-day organization of the team. The role will be interesting, varied and busy. You will be involved in a variety of duties ranging from organising meetings, taking notes and following up with artists, delivering files and documentation to clients, organizing reference material, ordering food and so much more.

This is an entry-level role, but one that requires being able to think on your feet and communicate clearly. You will enjoy the benefit of working in a fast-paced team with opportunities to grow within the company and develop your skill set.

Additional skills helpful to the role:

• Previous knowledge of VFX pipeline and/or film industry experience
• Knowledge of Shotgun, Excel & Word
