ABOUT US:
Adventure Valley Day Camp is a traditional-style day camp for children ages 4 – 12 years. Children participate in a variety of different activities each day – our campers get to experience it all in one place!

We go beyond summer fun to provide experiences that foster growth and develop the whole child. We focus on building life skills, like confidence, determination, kindness, and positivity.

We embed our values of trust, community, fun and curiosity into everything we do. We go where our campers can discover new experiences in a safe environment, giving them the freedom to explore who they really are, play in an inclusive zone, and find out what it means to be a friend.

And we always go to a place where campers are embraced by the spirit and values of our camp community.

OUR STAFF FAMILY

Our staff are selected for their leadership ability, skills, experience and ability to engage in outrageous camp fun. What stands out for us is good character, a sense of humour, a passion for fun, strong communication skills and a keen interest in spending time outside, with kids, having a blast!

THE JOB

We are hiring a SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER / PHOTOGRAPHER / VIDEOGRAPHER for Summer 2023. This person would be responsible for:

A. SOCIAL MEDIA
– Developing camp’s presence on Tik Tok
– Posting daily on Facebook and Instagram of camp activity
– Responding to all social media comments and inquiries, forwarding as needed to the correct people

B. PHOTOGRAPHY
– Taking photos to be used in social media both during the summer and for the full calendar year
– Organizing and labelling these photos by genre for easy access during social media calendar planning
– Uploading photos on a daily basis to our photo-sharing platform with campers’ parents.

C. VIDEOGRAPHY
– Videoing day to day activity at camp, as well as special events
– Creating short (15-30 second) promotional videos to be used year-round
– Creating longer videos (Summer yearbook video for campers, yearbook video for campers)

**Please note:
All applicants should have their own camera with video capabilities, a mechanism for transferring these items to your computer, and your own laptop with wifi capability.

Salary: $4,500.00-$5,000.00 per year
