For this position, we are looking for a contract video editor who can arrive as a second shooter on set for various client projects in the Waterloo Region.

A Day in the Life

• Partnering with our team onset to film exciting client projects
• Working with the Founder & CEO, plan and execute initiatives that bring our purpose to life and make a positive impact in our communities
• Second Shooter for Videography + Photography projects
• Video editing skills are an asset
• Developing your editing skills further through our training and support

What You Bring To The Table

• Must have some experience in this field
• Must have examples of your work in the form of a portfolio
• Exceptional editing, interpersonal, and creative thinking skills
• Knowledge of (and a passion for) videography
• Ability to manage complex projects and be in the details
• The ability to transform an idea into highly engaging video content
• Proven track record of creative and engaging storytelling
• Must be collaborative, have strong interpersonal skills, and be an excellent communicator
• Solid understanding and ability to use digital media tools and technologies (i.e. Tik Tok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest)
• Experience with Premiere Pro and Canva is an asset
• Soft skills include: Time management, critical thinking, attention to detail and a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour
