Freelance Wedding Videographer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative videographer to join our small team of wedding filmmakers. As a videographer, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality videos throughout the wedding day. You will be a second shooter to a lead videographer who can guide and assist you. This may lead to opportunities for you to lead with a second shooter below you. Cameras and equipment can/will be provided for you. You will not need to edit, but editing opportunities for additional pay could be discussed if interested. The majority of our weddings are in southern New England (RI, MA, and CT). You will need to provide your own travel for most jobs. We are based in RI, but do not operate out of a specific location.

Qualifications

Must have some prior experience recording video, preferably with DLSR cameras. Experience with digital audio recorders is a plus. Understanding “shooting for the edit” is crucial for this type of filmmaking. It’s also great if you have experience speaking with clients in a professional manner / customer service, as we do this throughout the day. Training will be provided on site according to the specifics of our workflow and equipment.
