Media Creator and Video Editor

Days of week are semi flexible and may change on a weekly basis depending on what is happening. Hours will be most likely 3 days a week around 20-24 hours a week.

**The plan is to grow this position into a full time job within 6 months.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor/Videographer/Media Creator to join our team. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for helping come up with video and photo ideas and editing and producing high-quality videos for various platforms. You will be following myself (Ryan, the owner) around to my Landscaping Business, Bar and Grill, Dumpster Company and Equipment Rental Company. You will work closely with myself, my wife and my other employees at the companies to come up with and film and then edit content.

Responsibilities:

– Come up with video ideas
– Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a high standard of quality and creativity
– Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and objectives
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
– Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the video
– Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the client’s specifications
– Manage and organize video files using content management systems
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing techniques

Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Videographer and Editor or similar role
– Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
– Strong knowledge of post-production processes, including color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics
– Excellent understanding of typography and visual storytelling
– Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
