Mike Andes Media is focused on delivering high-quality content geared towards helping home service business owners improve their companies and learn their numbers. We’re expanding our team and seeking a talented Video Editor to join us in our mission to raise the level of professionalism in the home service industry.

Role Overview: As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for managing a secondary YouTube channel within our network. Your role will initially involve editing pre-recorded content, but will quickly evolve into a more creative position, where you’ll have the opportunity to direct shoots and shape the content strategy for the channel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for video editing and a keen interest in business topics.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for our secondary YouTube channel, ensuring content is engaging, informative, and aligned with our brand identity.
• Create simple motion graphics to clearly deliver more complicated and/or mathematical lessons to the audience.
• Score the video with music and sound effects that aline with the brand and tone of the video
• Publish edited videos to youtube including thumbnail design, title creation, tags, and end card details
• Collaborate with our team to develop creative concepts and storyboards for upcoming videos.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong storytelling skills and a creative mindset, with the ability to develop engaging content concepts and execute them effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Activity consumes YouTube content along with other forms of social media
