Camera Operator

BarTV Sports is currently seeking camera operators on a contract basis in some of our primary coverage areas.

Working independently you will film multiple grades of sport. Shifts are on a Saturday and Sunday around the ACT, Queanbeyan, Goulburn and Yass and range between 5 – 9 hours of work. You may visit a different venue each week learning the setup at the various grounds. There are more shifts available for keen operators willing to travel to Wagga Wagga and Griffith when required.

Must have:

• Effective time management skills
• Great communication skills
• Ability to operate autonomously (one camera shoot)
• Availability to work weekends
• Willingness to learn new systems
• Drivers license (P plates are fine)
• ABN & TFN
• Effective time management skills

Desirables

• An interest in Sport
• An interest in Media and Technology
• Keen to learn and improve their Camera Work
• Ability to multitask (Score and shoot)
• Positive work ethic
• Working with children’s certificate

All Training and equipment is provided. This job is perfect for students or anyone wishing to earn some extra cash on the weekend.

Opportunities available for experienced operators after some extra weekend work. Especially if you have your own equipment – (Camera and/or Live Streaming Encoder).
