Role Description

This is a contract role for a Documentary Filmmaker at ROPEUS MEDIA LTD located in London Area, United Kingdom, with the flexibility to work remotely. The Documentary Filmmaker will be responsible for creating, producing, directing, and editing both short and feature-length documentary films for distribution through various channels. They will work with a team of producers, writers, and editors to create compelling and innovative content.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in documentary filmmaking, with a primary focus on storytelling and social impact
• Expertise in all aspects of the documentary filmmaking process, from pre-production to post-production
• Strong creative vision and ability to communicate and collaborate with a creative team
• Experience working with various camera equipment and editing software
• Demonstrated ability to create original and thought-provoking content that resonates with audiences
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in film, media studies, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Experience working on international documentaries or multilingual documentaries is a plus
• Passion for social justice and activism is a plus
