Position Summary:
We are seeking creative and detail-oriented video editors to join our dynamic online course design team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to the creation of engaging and informative video for online learners. Individuals will play a crucial role in the post-production process, working with industry-standard software.
Responsibilities:
1. Quality control and light editing: content control, including identifying sections of recordings for potential cuts, ensuring consistency, and acting as a focus-group to evaluate the impact of produced media.
2. Editing and polishing: editing and assembling raw footage to create polished instructional videos, ensuring a high standard of quality and visual appeal.
3. Collaboration: working closely with instructional designers to understand project requirements and objectives.
4. Visual enhancement: incorporating graphic, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the educational value of the videos.
5. Supporting video shoots: assisting with video shoots, as necessary, including setting up equipment and capturing additional footage.

1. Proficiency with video editing software such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

4. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
