JOB SUMMARY

As a member of the Photo & Video Team, this teammate is responsible for taking direction from their supervisor and/or Project Leads and carrying a project through to final completion. This person’s primary role is as a video editor, using digital software to prepare files, create drafts, implement feedback, color correct, and more before exporting a final product. Ability to develop a coherent and compelling story from footage is essential to success in this role. In production, this team member may be called upon to attend video/photo shoots to serve in a variety of roles, or lead a production entirely. This creative teammate is someone who is detail-oriented, organized, self-driven, and proactive.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Production:

○ Attend shoots as requested to serve as Production Assistant, Director of Photography, Photographer, or other roles as directed

○ Assist with equipment, gear organization, and similar needs

● Post-Production:

○ Work with and manipulate footage, dialogue, sound, graphics, and special FX

○ Manage revisions as requested by the Project Manager and/or Project Lead

○ Create and edit basic motion graphics as needed

○ Manage technical aspects of post-production equipment, software, and workflows

○ Research, propose, and implement new post-production methods, styles, and equipment

○ Maintain and uphold project deadlines and deliverables

○ Work with contractors and internal team to ingest and organize all media and share relevant post-production materials as needed

○ Bring the vision of a project into reality, creating deliverables that match the goals and direction of the project as it was developed

● Assist in management of company portfolio and online platforms (Frame.io, Vimeo, YouTube)

SKILLS + PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

● Desire and natural instinct to be organized while handling multiple projects simultaneously

● Team player with a consistent positive attitude

● Ability to recognize needs and implement solutions with little oversight; self-motivated

● Skilled in post-production software, including the the full Adobe Creative Cloud

● Skilled in organizational programs, including Microsoft, Google Workspace, and other online software

● Valid driver’s license with no excessive traffic violations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

● Work Environment – This job primarily operates in an office-type setting with appropriate climate-control. Some tasks may require working outdoors and may be subject to varying environmental conditions.

● Physical Demands – This is a medium-work role which requires the ability to exert 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently. Walking and standing are required frequently with the ability to kneel, crouch, lift, push, carry, twist, reach, and climb occasionally.

EXPECTATIONS AND COMPENSATION

● This position is to constitute one full-time exempt position, approximately 40 hours per week

● Hybrid work environment with mixture of virtual and in-person responsibilities
