Upscale Business Coachingis seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. At Upscale, we are dedicated to helping tradespeople build their businesses. Our weekly podcast serves as a valuable resource, offering insightful tips and tools to facilitate business growth. We have an exciting opportunity to transform the podcast content into engaging visuals for YouTube.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Video Editor at Upscale, you will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the production of high-quality video content. Key responsibilities include:
Create fun and engaging content for YouTube and socials from our weekly podcast
Studying scripts and scenarios to determine theme, setting and graphical elements.
Make and implement editorial decisions regarding the mood, pace, and climax of films, video productions, commercials and other media.
Planning and organising the preparation and presentation of programs.
Assessing technical requirements by studying scripts and discussing program content with the production team.
Creating, planning, writing scripts for, recording, videotaping, and editing programs.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor.
Proficiency in video editing software and tools.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Ability to collaborate effectively with social media marketers
Familiarity with the technical aspects of film, video and graphic production.
Attention to detail and creative thinking.
Qualifications:
Degree in Film Studies, Video Production
Relevant certifications in video editing software.

Salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
