Camera Operator

About Us:

GameFace is on the lookout for talented Contractor Camera Operators to capture the moments of community football and netball matches, along with any other exciting events throughout the season. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to our mission of delivering top-notch sports coverage.

We’re looking for operators in South-East Melbourne but especially in the Outer East, with travel to Alexandra, Yea and Powelltown involved.

Responsibilities:

· Operate camera equipment to film football/netball matches and related events.

· Ensure the highest quality footage and images are captured to enhance our sports coverage.

· Maintain punctuality and adhere to allocated timeframes for each game and event.

· Handle all equipment with care and return it in pristine condition.

· Follow venue guides and setup requirements for optimal filming conditions.

· Obtain and keep up to date a valid Working with Children’s Check (WWCC) if working with junior leagues and clubs.

Requirements:

· Must possess or willing to obtain an Australian Business Number (ABN).

· Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle

· Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Desirable

· If you have your own video equipment

· Have experience in the sporting field.

Contract Details:

· Hourly Rate: $30 per hour + GST (exclusive of superannuation).

· $35 per hour + GST if you have your own equipment.

· $30 standard travel fee every time you work for us.

· Contract status: Independent contractor.

· Must be available to work on weekends and afterhours.
