Job Title: Video Editor with some Production Assistant Responsibilities

In this role, you will primarily focus on editing content for social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok while also assisting with various production tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong editing skills, a deep understanding of platforms like YouTube and TikTok, and proficiency in editing software such as Final Cut and Adobe Premiere. Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for social media platforms including YouTube and TikTok, ensuring a high level of quality and engagement.
• Collaborate with the content creator to develop creative concepts and execute them effectively through editing.
• Assist with production tasks such as setting up equipment, capturing footage, and managing shoot logistics.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and best practices on social media platforms to optimize content for maximum reach and impact.
• Work closely with the team to meet project deadlines and maintain a consistent content schedule.
• Bring innovative ideas to the table to enhance the overall production value of the content.

Requirements:

• Reside in Austin, TX (ATX) and have a working, reliable vehicle.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Final Cut, Adobe Premiere, or similar programs.
• Quick turnaround when editing content.
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms like YouTube and TikTok, including their algorithms and community guidelines.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate effectively with the content creator and the team.
• Basic camera skills and familiarity with equipment to capture visually appealing footage.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A passion for content creation and a creative mindset.
• Previous experience in video editing and production is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
