Composer Operator – Night Shift

Monday – Thursday (7pm – 7am)

SAFETY

Position is exposed to moving parts and a cutting blade.

Machine must be properly tagged and locked out before approaching with a hand or arm. The lockout/tag course must be completed.

Hearing protection, area appropriate gloves, and safety glasses are required.

Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

QUALITY

Position is responsible for making sure that the tension and glue line are properly positioned.

Gaps and tape joints are corrected by Meinan composers. Failure to do so could result in rejecting plywood.

Quality gates for off grade veneer from previous process.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED.

Position makes general decisions concerning machine operations and product quality.
