As the Video Editor & Podcast Studio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing the values of RFG Advisory and our advisors to life through captivating storytelling across several mediums and channels for video. You will be responsible for crafting compelling video content for both B2B and B2C purposes, supporting our marketing and business development teams on our growth mission, and manage our podcast studio for in-house recordings.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our creative, marketing, and business development teams, to learn and understand key messaging and concepts for both our B2B and B2C channels, translating them into engaging video and podcast content.
• Take ownership of the entire video post-production process for video and podcasts, following through from filming to editing to final delivery and distribution.
• Manage our podcast studio, including scheduling recordings, overseeing audio production, and coordinating guest appearances.
• Communicate proactively with key contributors to foster efficient workflows, cross-functional synergies, and organized delivery of the final product.
• Create and manage deadlines consistently, working with the Creative Director and team to effectively plan content and produce timely, relevant content
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and podcasting, incorporating innovative techniques to enhance our content.
• Maintain and organize our digital media library, ensuring easy access to assets for future projects.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, supporting team members and contributing to a culture of creativity and excellence.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Excellent storytelling ability, with proven experience translating messages from raw footage and an idea into powerful video content for both B2B and B2C purposes through an edit.
• Proven experience in video editing and podcast production, with a strong portfolio showcasing your technical abilities to create professional, very detailed content.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of audio recording and editing techniques, including proficiency with software like Adobe Audition or Audacity.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for visual and audio aesthetics.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A proactive mindset and a willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for finance and the ability to distill complex concepts into engaging and accessible content.
