Locations: Hybrid based in Neenah, WI, Roswell, GA, or Knoxville, TN or Remote based in the U.S.
Dates: May – August 2024
In this exciting internship role, you’ll work on our Global Business Services (GBS) Strategic Communications team as a Graphic Design and Video Editor Intern. The projects you’ll work on will help keep employees across the globe engaged, informed, and excited about what’s happening at Kimberly-Clark and enable people to embrace and adopt changes that key initiatives may bring. This is a terrific opportunity to gain experience designing, creating and publishing content for a growing global services organization.
Role expectations:
As a Communications Graphic Designer/Video Editing Intern, you can expect to learn and contribute to:
- Directing, brainstorming, conceptualizing, designing, developing, and coordinating graphic projects, illustrations, and production for a variety of branding assets, campaign materials, as well as promotional collateral
- Creating motion graphics, animations, and editing for video projects
- Collaborating with communications partners on the development of strategic video storytelling
Qualifications:
- College student pursuing any of the field of study areas with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher: Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Technical Writing, Graphic Design, Film and Video Production, Audiovisual Communications, Business Administration, Organizational Behavior or a related field
- Previous relevant learning or work experience desired, with notable interpersonal effectiveness
- Basic/high level understanding of projects
- Intermediate Microsoft 365 experience, especially SharePoint, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Applicants must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. on a regular, full-time basis
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week May through August)
Preferred:
- Good time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-speed work environment
- Good customer and service orientation, combined with professional judgment to suggest different approaches where appropriate and work independently
- Functional/technical skills, with ability to adapt to software less traditional to design and editing industry, such as PowerPoint and Word
- Along with the ability to work full time (40 hours/week, May through August), the potential for part-time work during the school year
- Effective communication and people skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in full Adobe suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects; Power Platform skills

Total rewards at Kimberly-Clark includes pay and a full package of benefits that can be tailored to individual needs. The anticipated pay for this job is $22.00 per hour. Individual pay levels will be based on multiple factors including, but are not limited to, location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
