Newman Tractor is seeking a passionate, team-oriented Filmmaker capable of creating industry-leading video content to help develop, execute, and produce video content for marketing campaigns across a variety of channels. In this role, you’re responsible for bringing to life the organization’s creative vision and sharing our story with the world!
This position will work closely with the marketing leadership to create compelling video content from concept to final outcome that adheres to company branding and messaging in order to build brand awareness, increase sales, and achieve long-term company goals.

What You’ll Do:
- Understanding Newman Tractor’s brand traits, you’ll use them as a north star for video creation. You’ll ideate and innovate to produce various types of content from how-to product demonstration videos, product information & promotional videos, brand pieces, social content, etc. while tailoring each piece of video per platform and audience. You’ll help ensure consistency of message and brand values across multiple platforms and landscapes.
- In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with team members to create storyboards, develop pre-production, production and post-production needs for video content. Including planning, script-writing, design, audio recording and editing, as assigned and coordinate with marketing communications to finalize assets.
- Responsible for the revival of our 12-week video series; DeConstruction, Newman Tractor’s heavy equipment shop reality show. While working alongside the VP of Marketing to leverage SEO / Keyword best practices to promote successful re-launch and audience engagement of each episode.
- Develop video shorts, reels and content for all digital advertising channels including storyboarding, treatment, production and editing, ensuring brand consistency across all channels and platforms.
- Brainstorm creative methods for re-purposing video content to distribute across multiple channels and platforms to generate additional target audience impressions.
- Adds graphics, transitional material and special effects to create a professional video product, and records footage for both staged and unscripted scenes.
- Review final productions for errors and ensure that final production reflects the company mission, vision and values.
- Responsible for Launch Day Releases and tasks to ensure viewership of content is achieved including video descriptions, titles, thumbnails, key term research to optimize search ranking, email blast to promote video release and paid distribution across all social media platforms.
- Assist in identifying, selecting, purchasing, and maintaining equipment, software, and hardware needed for media projects.
How We’ll Measure Success:
- Video Content Evaluation: When we talk about video content evaluation, we’re referring to the story that the video tells. The content is ultimately what will make or break whether or not our audience will relate to the video and make a decision on whether or not we’re a trustworthy resource for them. Ultimately resulting in sales conversions.
- View-Through Rate. This KPI measures how often a viewer visits our site or landing pages at some point after viewing the video—even if they don’t follow through on the call-to-action immediately.
- Click-Through Conversions. This metric is more closely tied to sales, revenues, or other bottom-line numbers. It’s the total number of people who watched the video, clicked through to your site or landing page, and followed through on the call-to-action.
- Monetization. Average Revenue per Thousand Impressions (RPM): RPM measures the average revenue generated per thousand video impressions. It helps in understanding how effectively the content is monetized on YouTube.
Experience:
- Must present a sample / portfolio of work to prove video production capabilities and proficiency.
- Experience in editing, video production, keying, audio production, music editing, and sound effects.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects + Premier + Photoshop + Illustrator).
