CONTEXT

SS Telugu is one of the fast-growing sports networks – and is a key staple for sports fans in the AP/TS region. The channel has been rising in viewership consumption across flagship Live Cricket and PKL events since its launch in Dec 2018. 
It’s a network that produces all LIVE rights events across Cricket (BCCI, ICC, IPL, BCCI domestic) Kabaddi (PKL) Football (ISL, AIFF) & other events like KIYG etc. The team has also grown to producing full-fledged customized B-Feed model for Telugu LIVE sport leaving a smaller team to manage multiple key functions on a LIVE production cycle, besides also managing the NonLive content. The year ahead promised packed calendar with overlapping of key Cricket/Kabaddi/Football properties and team is in need for internal FT resources to bolster the production workflow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To research, script and produce Stories (VTs, PKGs, Olays, etc) that form part of the Surround (PPL) programming for LIVE Match coverage
• To prepare the Showflow and Runorder for Live PPL shows for our rights-held events
• To assist the Match producer on elements needed for the Match feed production
• To be part of the post-production set up overseeing & ensuring edits with the VT Editors for all the Visual elements on the RunOrder
• Graphics production – To visualize & execute offline content Graphics produced on softwares like AE & Photoshop etc with the design team
• To ideate and plan for match day coverage in advance and participation in story & RO ideation with the full team
• To produce Match highlights for key events.
• To script & produce Non-Live shows like Gameplan, MatchPoint, Countdown etc
• Delivery and coordination of content with cross-functions like TX-Ops, Scheduling, FPC etc

PERFORMANCE MEASURES

• Ability to use necessary story-telling tools to engage the target audience and viewership group.
• Team spirit, free-willing contribution to the team setup – working cohesively with other team members in ensuring all deliverables are met
• Ratings of the PPL shows/Non Live shows/Match Feed will be a measure of an individual and team performances and success.

 QUALIFICATION

• Media studies /Film & production
• 2-4 years experience in production set up (Live experience is handy)
• Avid Sports enthusiast who is up to speed with the sporting events and the key sporitng performers across Cricket, Kabaddi, Football & Olympics sports.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

• Good command over written and spoken Telugu
• Ability to script and produce visual medium content
• Basic understanding of Edit software Premier Pro and GFX Software like After Effects, Photoshop etc
• MS Office Skills (Xls and PPT key)
• Understanding of the AP/TS viewer segment in sports to cater & curate content to their likes & sensibilities.
