Job Summary

Margle is growing and looking for a video editor with experience creating social media content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Our ideal candidate is a marketer first and foremost, with strong videography, video editing, and motion graphics skills. They must be familiar with creating video and graphical content for social platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube and be highly proficient in the Adobe Suite. This role will be working on a creative team of eight, and will be creating content for clients such as QDOBA, Frito-Lay, Johnsonville, Instant Brands, Cousins Subs, and additional financial institutions/retail brand clients. You will have the opportunity to bring your own ideas and creativity to the table, and will be encouraged to do so!

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Required: Video Editing Experience for Social Media Platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) – video, sound, motion graphics, text animation, etc.
  • Required: Proficient in Adobe CC software, specifically After Effects & Premiere.
  • Strongly Desired: Videography Experience (iPhone & Sony a7/Fx series’ preferred)
  • Strongly Desired:Digital Marketing/Agency Background, Understanding, and Experience– understanding of how consumers engage with direct response advertising on social media along with social media advertising best practices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create Social Media Organic and Ad Content for Clients – emphasis on video for TikTok, IG Reels, YouTube Shorts
  • Handle Edits from Clients – open working files, find edits, and complete them in a timely manner (video and static – working in Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
  • Generate Ad Creative and Organic Creative Content & Concepts and Ideas Proactively
  • Close Collaboration with Creative Director in the Ideation/Development of Content
  • Additional Video Support – production support, editing support, Margle content support, client-facing creative for as needed, etc.
  • Additional Margle Content Support – work closely with the sales team to create sales support materials (sample video/static content, proposal decks, etc.), document Margle’s work and success through social media content (work with a Social Media Strategist/Manager to manage the Margle Media social accounts), create videos for Margle employee personal social accounts (shoot and edit)

Position Details

This is a full-time position. Workdays will require flexibility and a sense of urgency to meet customer’s needs. Currently, the office is predominately in-office, with one day per week remote. Ideally, this position is local (open to discussions of otherwise for the right candidate).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
