LOCATION: HYBRID/LOCAL TO LEXINGTON AREA

SALARY: $62,600-$73,550

Job Summary:

As a Video Editor within the Media Solutions Department at NASPO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity of our digital content. Reporting directly to the Director of Media Solutions, you will be responsible for crafting engaging and impactful video content that aligns with NASPO’s mission and objectives. This role requires a creative and detail-oriented individual who can seamlessly blend storytelling with visual elements to enhance our digital presence.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Media Solutions team to understand project goals and objectives.
  • Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, high-quality videos that align with NASPO’s brand.
  • Implement creative and innovative video editing techniques to enhance storytelling.
  • Ensure consistency in style, quality, and messaging across all video content.
  • Work closely with the Director of Media Solutions and other team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in video editing.
  • Provide input and contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions for new projects.
  • Maintain an organized library of video assets for easy access and retrieval.

Qualifications:

  • Must submit a demo reel highlighting editing experience. Photography and Videography examples are a plus.
  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, lighting, and audio.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to travel by plane at lease 3 times per year.

  • None

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, Media, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in video editing.
  • Association Experience is a plus.
