Position: Video Editor and Social Media Marketer

Location: Remote in Florida

Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

  • Craft engaging and visually stunning travel videos that align with our brand’s aesthetic and storytelling goals.
  • Edit raw footage into polished and shareable content for various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure the use of high-quality video content.

Social Media Marketing:

  • Develop and implement social media marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Create and manage content calendars for various platforms, ensuring consistent and timely posts.
  • Monitor social media trends and incorporate them into the content strategy.

Content Outreach:

  • Identify potential content contributors within the travel community.
  • Reach out to individuals or travel content creators to request permission to feature their videos on our platforms.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with contributors.

Community Engagement:

  • Engage with our audience on social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and fostering a sense of community.
  • Encourage user-generated content and create initiatives to involve the audience in our content creation process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and compelling travel content.
  • Social media marketing experience, including strategy development and content planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for outreach and relationship building.
  • Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills to manage content calendars, contributor relationships, and community engagement.
  • Able to Travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in the travel industry.
  • Familiarity with travel-related trends and influencers.
  • Graphic design skills for creating eye-catching visuals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
