Video Editor

American Medicine Today and the Bonati Spine Institute are looking for a skilled video editor for our nationally aired television show.

We are in need of an experienced video editor who can find the most compelling stories out of the footage our film crew gathers.

Our formats are both topical news / current events and short documentaries focused on a specific individual’s journey. We are looking for segments that are polished both visually and audibly, and will match the existing look of our currently aired show. In many cases we have 30+ minute interviews that must be cut down to 9 minutes and later cut down to 30 seconds for ads.

We produce fresh weekly content for multiple formats including television and social media such as Facebook and YouTube, so this individual must be able to keep up with strict deadlines. Existing knowledge in PC based Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Audition is required. Knowledge in other Adobe apps such as Photoshop and After Effects is also preferred.

This is an 8-5 M-F salary-based position (salary based on qualifications and experience). The location is primarily remote where the employee will be provided with editing equipment and software to work from home.

On-site training at our facility in Hudson Florida is required for the first few weeks before transitioning to remote where the individual will then be required to attend bi-weekly show tapings at the production studio in St. Petersburg (Feather Sound) Florida.
