Role Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our dynamic team on a remote contract basis. This role calls for a storyteller with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual narrative. The ideal candidate will craft compelling video content that aligns with our clients’ branding and campaign goals, enhancing our digital marketing strategies with high-quality, engaging video productions.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Strong sense of pacing, timing, and storytelling in video content.
• Ability to translate marketing strategies into compelling visual stories.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• A portfolio showcasing your video editing skills.
• (Optional) A degree in Film Studies, Cinematography, or a related field is a plus.

Job Details:

• This position is open to experienced individuals with at least 0-2 years of professional video editing experience.
• Graduates from various educational backgrounds are welcome to apply.
• Remuneration will be project-based or part-time, with the potential for long-term engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for broadcasting.
• Collaborate with our content creation team to conceptualize and execute video projects.
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the final cut.
• Experiment with styles and techniques, including the design of graphic elements.
• Select and combine the most effective shots to form a clear narrative.
• Consult with stakeholders from production to the post-production process.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
