Video Editor

Overall Purpose of Role
We are seeking a full-time Video Editor to edit and design videos for a global finance company. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast moving and dynamic team and to work with industry leaders.

Responsibilities:
– Brainstorming and idea scheming for creativity and storyboard for video editing
– Perform as a supporting role in videos, photo, and graphics creation on all levels of post-production process (digitize or import audio/video footages, archiving existing projects, develop titles and motion graphics using software programs, creating audio recordings, etc).
– Trim footages segments and put together the sequence of the video marketing ads, post-event highlight reels, etc.
– Create video elements for marketing and business requirements, i.e. for webpages, events and social media.
– Produce informative animations with infographics and illustrations.
– Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies or industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
– Good sense of timing and visual awareness, and a high level of attention to details.

Requirements:
– Diploma or Bachelor degree in Film / TV Production / Multi-media Production or equivalent with min 2 years’ experience are preferred.
– Proficient experience in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and image processing tools such as Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
– Highly productive, focused and efficient with excellent time-management skills.
– High level of initiative and able to work well in a team.
– Possess video or photo shooting skills is an added advantage.
– Fluent in Mandarin and English in terms of writing and communication. Mandarin is a MUST to edit video in mandarin subtitles.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: RM3,000.00 – RM4,000.00 per month
