Context:
This role is a part of Content Studio team – the creative engine that drives the success of Star Plus. The incumbent in this role will liaise with Production Houses to mine and develop path breaking concepts for us while at the same time upholding channel philosophy and delivering on channel priorities. They will play a key role in the deciding the kind of storytelling that goes on at Star Plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Scout for new talent (showrunners) and concepts
• Shape and develop shows – storylines and characters
• Recommend new concepts/ shows for launch of new shows
• Provide creative inputs on long term story arcs for existing shows

Performance Measures:

• Performance of a portfolio of shows – TVR, TSV of shows
• Number of break-through characters created
• New talent identified
• Adherence to development & launch milestones

Qualifications:

• Graduate/ P.G. in any stream. Preferably Mass Media
• Proven expertise, experience and solid track record in content ideation, hit shows
• Ability to build aspirational & novel concepts
• Knowledge of Film & TV Production
• Excellent Problem solving & decision-making skills
• Excellent communication & persuasion skills
