After School Filmmaking Instructor Part-Time

Talk to the Camera STEAM-based enrichment classes boost self-confidence through filmmaking & video creation. This award-winning national Franchise is seeking highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic instructors to teach our enrichment classes.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Make learning FUN and ENGAGING!
• Teach Talk to the Camera’s award-winning curriculum
• Demonstrate creative skills involved in various aspects video and animation production
• Manage a group of campers and follow daily procedures
• Communicate with teammates, parents and location staff in a professional, and timely manner
• Ensure high quality final product is produced and ready to be delivered in a timely fashion to the families

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom, camp or daycare environment
• Familiar with various aspects of video production
• Experience in the performing arts; filmmaking, social content creation, animation or visual storytelling is a plus.
• Reliable and punctual
• Pass a criminal background check
• Driver license and reliable transportation
• Willing to travel to various schoools

Part-time / Flexible:

• Instructors can teach between 1 – 6 classes per week. Each class is one hour and sessions range between 5 – 10 weeks. Some classes are before, during or after school. You can teach whichever may work in your schedule.
