Camera Operator – Live Football Streaming (Part-Time/ Flexible)

About the Role:

We are seeking Greater Manchester based camera operators to help us cover Saturday/Sunday League football as well as youth football teams.

You will be required to attend games to cover the match as the main camera source for live streams. Your camera will be hooked up to your laptop using Sony Imaging Edge (or equivalent software for other brands) and then streamed to out application to be mixed and streamed out live to various platforms. You will need to have your own kit such as compatible camera, zoom lens and tripod as well as a supporting laptop (with battery life of 3+ hours, either internal or external) to run your cameras feed into the stream and record the game locally.

Your skills:

• Experience camera operating
• Live camera operation
• A DSLR or Camcorder that can at least film at 1080p (plus supporting kit – Zoom Lens, Video tripod, Laptop)
• Either high or unlimited 4G data should it be required
• A good understanding of football
• Driving License

Desirable skills:

• Experience of live streaming
• Experience with OBS (or equivalent)
• Technical understanding of using a DSLR/ Camcorder with a PC

ioLIVE is a streaming platform used to create high quality live streams across social video channels at affordable prices. The software enables sports clubs and teams to stream arena/ pitch-based sports events to their fans and family easily. We are working with a multiple teams to bring their games to online social video platforms (YouTube, Facebook Live, Twitch).

We’re currently expanding our services to the Manchester area and need local enthusiastic camera operators to join our team to cover the games as and when they come. This role will offer regular work on the weekends and games will be commencing soon.
