Actor/Actress/TV Presenter

We are in search of a talented and dedicated TV Presenter/ actor or actress to portray a role in our new YouTube series based in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be able to appreciate comedy, possess exceptional acting abilities and be capable of convincingly portraying the character as per the provided scripts.

Previous knowledge about cars is not required, as all scripts will be prewritten and provided.

Responsibilities:

• Character Portrayal: Embody the yet to be determined character convincingly, delivering lines with fun, engaging the audience and enhancing the storyline.
• Script Interpretation: Familiarise yourself with the provided scripts and deliver lines with the appropriate tone, timing, and expression, ensuring a seamless performance in every scene.
• On-screen Chemistry: Develop and maintain compelling on-screen chemistry with other cast members, enhancing the overall dynamics of the series and contributing to engaging and believable interactions.
• Physical Expression: Utilise body language and facial expressions to convey the character’s emotions, thoughts, and reactions, adding depth and nuance to the performance.
• Character Development: Collaborate with the director and fellow actors to explore the nuances of the character, contributing creative input where necessary, and evolving the character throughout the series.
• Feedback Integration: Receive and apply feedback from the director and production team, adapting the performance as necessary to align with the creative vision of the series.

Requirements:

• Acting Skills: Proven experience and demonstrated talent in acting, with the ability to convey emotions, create compelling characters, and engage the audience effectively. The ability to partake in comedy scenes is essential.
• Versatility: Ability to adapt to different roles, scenarios, and character traits, showcasing a wide range of acting abilities.
• Professionalism: Reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate effectively with the production team and fellow cast members.
• Creativity: Willingness to contribute creative ideas and insights to enhance the character and overall storyline, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
