We seek to appoint a Musician In Residence or Composer In Residence to work closely with the Director of Music, classroom music teachers, instrumental/vocal tutors and Music Specialism Support Assistant. We encourage the successful candidate to build the role around their own areas of expertise, which might involve working in some of the following areas, depending on the candidate’s areas of strength:

• Nurturing our most promising, and most skilled, musicians.
• Developing the use of music technology across the college.
• Increasing the uptake of orchestral instruments.
• Developing the compositional skill of students at SRRCC.
