The Opportunity
CreativeOPTIC is hiring for a Short-Form Video Content Editor to join our Digital Marketing (remote) team based in Los Angeles, California.
As a Short-Form Video Content Editor, you will be a brand advocate contributing to the visual engagements for online content, in short form both independently and in a team setting. You will be collaborating closely with partners across the organization to heighten awareness of our brand content and drive user engagement through social media channels.

The Role
The ideal candidate will be part editor, social strategist and visual storyteller with a passion for the online social experience. This role requires stellar fact-checking and high creative and visual acumen. The ability to source and edit relevant content for the end user will be a sweet spot in your success.
The Environment:
CreativeOPTIC is a 24-hour network which requires staff who are flexible and available to work various shifts, including early morning, late evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
● Edit raw video footage, voice-overs, sound bites & micro content blog content for publishing
● Use creativity and sound judgment to create interesting short-form content
● Transcoding and converting content to be used for present/future editing
● Make certain all video and sound meet quality standards
JOB FUNCTION
● Produce and edit in-house videos/audio online digital content using Adobe CC Premiere following Brand Guidelines and specifications.
● Source relevant content for the community and transcribe to text where necessary
● Design and produce motion graphics and/or animations for brands and projects with Adobe After Effects.
● Create “sizzle” videos for use on company websites and/or internal marketing use.
● Edit “b-roll” compilations for use in VLOGs, tutorials and/or event promotions.
● Edit “Cut-down” videos to create shortened micro content for various social networks/websites
● Meet or exceed team standards for quality and quantity of videos/spots produced.
● Use an online workflow system to manage jobs/tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS [Skills/Abilities and Knowledge]
● MINIMUM of 1 year experience creating short-form content for Instagram, TikTok and/or YT Shorts
● Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro CC
● Experience with animations & motion graphics software [preferably Adobe After Effects]
● Ability to implement concise feedback
● Ability to color correct and mix audio levels. Understanding of digital workflows and file-based delivery (experience with videography is a plus)
● Ability to quickly troubleshoot technical issues with editing software and/or equipment
● Entrepreneurial attitude and a desire to learn and grow within the role
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills [Fluent In English]
