The Tigrett Agency is a branding and advertising agency based in Scottsdale, Arizona solving unique business problems for local and national companies through data-driven creativity and strategic planning.

About The Role

Tigrett is seeking a highly driven video editor to join our Creative team. The Editor will work closely with the Tigrett team to edit and package exceptional videos for clients that are engaging and meet the trending creative demands. They must have strong and innovative storytelling skills, as well as experience working with directors to bring their vision to life. This position requires a broad range of editing experience from pre-rolls, social videos, web-based content, large screen format, and broadcast, while maintaining industry standard workflows.This role will sit in our office, located in Scottsdale, Arizona (this is not a remote position).

What You’ll Do

• Collaborating with departments for script review and brainstorming ideas
• Work with the director during pre-production to plan out project-specific needs and aid in technical directing when necessary
• Ingesting footage, organizing project setup, stringouts, pull selects, edit, motion graphic elements, pulling sound design/music, onlining approved edits, color conform/color correction, addressing client revisions, and uploading/sharing deliverable files
• Ensure that the content is of the highest quality, adheres to editorial standards, and meets all deadlines
• Audio mixing, sound design, and music selection for final edit
• Maintaining a clean and organized project file
• Tracking edit versions and deliverable assets
• Clearly articulate any issues during the edit process to team and clients
• Quality checking all videos before sharing
• Staying up to date on technical developments and software updates and apply new skills to improve workflow and quality
• Follow mastering and archival procedures
• Being able to edit while supervised and unsupervised
• Working with multiple projects and deadlines and navigating their creative needs
• Bring innovative solutions and “out of the box” ideas to the edit,
• Troubleshooting/solving technical errors within post-production
• Keeping up with current creative trends
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand client goals, strategy, and feedback
• Contribute concepts/ideas to new business pitches, pro-bono, and in-house projects
• Oversee campaigns through the production stage to completion
• Effectively work on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines

What You’ll Need

• At least 3 professional editing experience
• Proficiency in Davinci Resolve, After Effects, and Photoshop, etc
• A strong portfolio of work
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• A firm grasp of digital camera formats, frame rates, codecs, compression techniques and file-based workflows
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
• Motion graphics and animation skills (not required but a plus)
• Color correction within DaVinci Resolve (not required but a plus)
• A strong sense of creative and visual storytelling
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with flexibility and ease
• Self-starter that is motivated to learn, think quickly, and provide solutions
• Robust technical knowledge of editing software and computers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly creative and imaginative, and curious about clients’ products or services
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must work under pressure and manage workloads effectively
• Highly self-motivated and well organized
• Must be able work within strict budgets
• Must have an eye for detail
• Must be willing to come into the Scottsdale office at least 3 days per week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.69 – $26.12 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
