Video Editor

• About this position
We are seeking a talented and creative freelance Video Editor located in Mooresville so you can meet with our team occasionally. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos for various platforms. Your role will involve collaborating with the production team to bring their vision to life through engaging and visually appealing video content.

• Projects
– Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring seamless transitions, audio synchronization, and visual effects
– Trim and rearrange footage to create compelling storylines
– Add graphics, text overlays, and animations to enhance the visual appeal of videos
– Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that meet their vision

• Skills
– Teachable, to learn our style and workflow
– Proficiency in Premiere Pro video editing software, preferably on Mac
– Strong understanding of video editing principles, including pacing, timing, and storytelling
– Knowledge of typography and graphic design principles to create visually appealing text overlays
– Familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop and Audition is a plus, but not required
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
