We are in the process of expanding our team and are on the lookout for a skilled Video Editor and Motion Graphic Designer. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team, Creative director and Art director. Together, we aim to conceptualize and craft top-notch video content that aligns seamlessly with our brands priorities.

Where Would I Work & What’s It Like?

All employees work out of our office in Winter Park, FL. It’s fast-paced and highly interactive among team members. We’re an online only company with no customer showroom.

You’ll have a sit-stand desk, double monitors, and a super comfy ergonomic chair (Herman Miller Aeron if curious).

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Creating visually stunning motion graphics and animations for various digital media platforms
• Editing and creating video proficiently with motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects, video editors and NLEs such as Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve, and 3D modeling and animation software such as Blender 3D.
• Incorporating typography, visual effects, and sound design to enhance the overall impact and engagement of motion graphic content
• Adapting and optimizing video for different aspect ratios and screen sizes to ensure quality playback across different exhibition targets
• Revising content based on feedback from the Creative and Art Directors, ensuring high-quality motion graphic deliverables that meet company requirements and exceed expectations
• Contributing to the creative process by bringing innovative ideas and creative solutions to the table, contributing to the overall success of the marketing team
• Understanding the fundamental principles of marketing and advertising, and planning/tailoring video projects to work within marketing strategies and objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines, and delivering projects on time and within budget
• Collaborating with the creative and art director to understand project goals, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions to achieve the desired creative vision
• Collaborate with the creative team, including graphic designers, social content creators, and photographers, to conceptualize and storyboard video and motion graphic projects that align with brand, campaign and project objectives
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously refining skills, and exploring new techniques to push the boundaries of motion graphics design

Key Requirements

• Prior experience as a Motion Graphics Designer / Video editor, as well as a strong portfolio or demo reel
• Proficiency with Adobe After Effects
• Proficiency with non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer
• Experience with Blender 3D, ffmpeg/handbrake, After Effects expressions, and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
• Familiarity with 3D compositing and motion graphics.
• Keen eye for design and aesthetics
• Organizational skills, both physical and digital, and effective prioritization
• Ability to deliver quality output with short turnarounds
• Effective communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate ideas
• Collaborative, team-player attitude and the ability to gracefully accept feedback and revisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 – $32.00 per hour
