Windstar Cruises, recognized as the World’s Best Small Ship Cruise line, is seeking a Photo/Video Editor to join our team! ThePhoto/Video Editor will be a key contributor to our creative team, responsible for producing high-level, experiential brand videos and crafting engaging social media compositions. This role requires a skilled editor with a keen eye for visual storytelling, an ear for impactful musicality, a strong understanding of brand aesthetics, and the ability to create compelling content across various platforms. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Director and Production Teams to bring our brand to life!

Responsibilities (Text Only):

  • Visual Storytelling:
  • Work with raw footage to create compelling narratives, incorporating music, graphics, color grading, and sound effects.
  • Conceptualize and execute visual storytelling strategies that resonate with the brand identity and target audience across multiple platforms.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with photographers, videographers, and other team members to gather and edit visual assets.
  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance visual content.
  • Brand Consistency:
  • Ensure consistency in visual elements and messaging across all video and photo content.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and contribute to maintaining a cohesive brand image.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Utilize industry-standard video and photo editing software, such as Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and others.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in configuring export settings for various platforms, ensuring optimal quality and compatibility.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering polished, high-quality content.

Qualifications (Text Only):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years proven experience in video and photo editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand videos and social media compositions.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software.
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and engagement strategies.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and musicality.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Enthusiasm for staying updated on industry trends and advancements.
