Job Title Volunteer Video Editor/Content Creator

Position Overview Chiquita Jackson Enterprise is seeking a qualified and dedicated Volunteer Video Editor/Content Creator to contribute to our content creation needs. As a social impact nonprofit, we believe in transformative leadership and youth development to empower marginalized communities.

Responsibilities

• Receive instructions from management to understand video requirements and specifications.
• Trim and assemble footage segments to create a rough cut of the video.
• Add music, graphics, and effects to augment the video.
• Correct lighting, coloring, and flawed footage for optimal quality.
• Receive feedback from the Executive Director (ED) and make corrections based on feedback.
• Follow Chiquita Jackson Enterprise’s brand guidelines.
• Render the final cut and transfer it to Google Drive.
• Work closely with the ED throughout the process to create a final product that matches their vision.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a similar field.
• Proven experience in video editing and content creation.
• Proficient in video editing software.
• Strong understanding of branding and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and make necessary adjustments.

Reporting This position reports to the Executive Director.
