– Operate drones to capture aerial footage and images for various purposes, including photography, film, and GIS mapping.
– Ensure compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and other relevant guidelines.
– Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the drone is in proper working condition.
– Plan and execute drone flights to capture desired footage or data.
– Safely navigate the drone in various environments and weather conditions.
– Monitor battery life and make necessary adjustments to flight plans to ensure safe return of the drone.
– Maintain accurate records of flights, including flight logs and maintenance records.
– Collaborate with clients or team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results.
– Edit and process captured footage or data as needed.

PLEASE BE EXPERIENCED!

– Proficient in aviating drones and operating remote control systems.
– Strong knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and other relevant guidelines.
– Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations for drone operations is a plus.
– Ability to adapt to changing situations and make real-time decisions while operating a drone.
– Excellent photography skills to capture high-quality images or footage.
– Fluent in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication with team members and clients.
– Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks on drones.
– Experience in film production or GIS mapping is highly desirable.
