Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with clients and creative teams to develop concepts and ideas for film projects
– Plan, storyboard, and script film shoots
– Direct and manage the production process, including camera operation, lighting, sound recording, and set design
– Edit and post-produce films using industry-standard software
– Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques in filmmaking
Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Filmmaker or similar role
– Strong portfolio showcasing previous film projects
– Proficient in photography and film techniques
– Knowledge of art direction principles and color management
– Familiarity with photo manipulation software such as Adobe Photoshop
– Experience in social media management and content creation
– Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
– Familiarity with software like Capture One for photo editing
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills:
– Photography: Ability to capture high-quality images using professional cameras and equipment
– Film: Knowledge of cinematography techniques, framing, composition, and camera movement
– Art Direction: Ability to create visually appealing scenes through set design, props, and costumes
– Color Management: Understanding of color theory and the ability to manipulate colors for visual impact
– Photo Manipulation: Proficiency in editing photos to enhance or alter their appearance using software like Adobe Photoshop
– Social Media Management: Experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms to promote films and engage with audiences
– Adobe: Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite software for editing, graphic design, and visual effects
– Capture One: Familiarity with Capture One software for professional photo editing and organization
– Sales: Ability to pitch ideas to clients, negotiate contracts, and secure funding for film projects
– Video Production: Knowledge of the entire video production process, from pre-production to post-production, including camera operation, lighting, and sound recording.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
