Actor/mascot character

Dezerland Entertainment Orlando is looking for actors to join our team in Orlando, FL. We are looking for a variety of roles to play in a variety of different shows, from musicals to plays, and from one-man shows to full-time productions.

Responsibilities

• Wear a costume representing a company creature or other figure.
• Perform various activities for the entertainment team with which you are associated.
• Greet people and kids, have your photograph taken with them, generate an atmosphere in a crowd, or perform funny activities.
• Dance, make exaggerated movements, and interact with audiences to entertain and make people smile.
• Work to generate spirit for schools and teams, engage fans, and create loyal followers.
• Be physically fit to make an effective mascot.
• Actors will be required to follow the rules and regulations of the set they are working on.
• Actors will be required to adhere to all health and safety standards.
• Actors will be required to stay in contact with their manager or supervisor after each shift, as well as updating their manager or supervisor on any issues or concerns they may have.

Skills

• Experience in performing is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in acting is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Ability to remain calm and focused during stressful or high-pressure situations.
• Follow your manager’s instructions as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
