Video Editor

The Opportunity:

Creative industrial brand marketing firm seeks a motivated Video Editor to join its team in the development of video content for web, social media, and national trade shows. Short-form video storytelling, trailers, and sizzle reels through the selection of original and stock footage along with photography, music, SFX, and graphics. This position requires compositing skills in typography, animation, and keying. Color-correction and color-grading expertise along with basic audio mixing and encoding skills. Video is a core component of our brand marketing programs. Centrifuge is deeply involved in all aspects of production, including shoot coordination, scheduling, directing, and editing.

Responsibilities:
– Edit and assemble recorded raw footage into a finished product
– Utilize video editing software and tools
– Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
– Create motion graphics, and typography to incorporate into videos
– Ensure videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
– Enhance videos with visual effects, color correction, and audio editing

Skills:
– Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Media Encoder
– Strong understanding of post-production processes and workflows
– Knowledge of typography principles and ability to create visually appealing motion graphics
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
