We are looking for a Video Editor who will help communicate a deeply technical product to the world in a format developers love: video. Our users are Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists who love clear, no-fluff, learning-focused content. They want to understand things quickly and get back to solving their problems.
If you think you can deliver great videos to this audience and want to dive deeper into the ML space, we would love to talk to you!
We are a developer-focused, product-led, SaaS, series A startup. And driving bottom-up demand through our blog and content has been the single most important source of revenue so far.
A few words you will often hear: the voice of customer research, jobs to be done, strategic narrative, ownership, and impact.

In this role, you will:
- Edit and enhance Neptune’s ML Platform Podcast (MLPP) episodes for a polished and professional final product;
- Work closely with the Marketing department to transform raw video content into engaging and visually appealing YouTube videos;
- Create attention-grabbing snippets for social media platforms (LinkedIn & TikTok);
- Edit demo snippet videos, cut and refine content from actual demos to highlight key features;
- Develop clear and compelling explainer videos to communicate complex concepts concisely;
- Edit and mix audio to enhance overall video quality, including adding sound effects/voiceovers;
- Occasional design of motion graphics, GIFs, or other elements for the website to showcase our product.
You might be a fit if you have:
- 3+ years of experience as a Video Editor with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or others
- Experience with After Effects boards and templates
- Experience working with assets designed in Figma
- Strong understanding of project setup and editing workflows and tools
- Ability to effectively communicate, balance, and prioritize the demands of editing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing video asset archives
- Advanced spoken and written English
Nice to have:
- Experience with video or YouTube marketing
We offer:
