Experior Financial Group Inc. is looking for a Video Editor and Jr. Marketing Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Experior’s Marketing team to create video-first storytelling that fits with our brand, audiences, and social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X)
• Using a mix of video, stills and motion graphics to create on-brand content, including profiles, interviews, webinars, event footage and live covers.
• Staying attuned to what’s trending and performing on each platform.
• You’ll also assist with Social media engagement and interaction
• Participate in our annual convention.
• Assist the department where needed as required
• Will be reporting to the Assistant Creative Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing.

Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in digital media, video editing or motion design (or equivalent)
• Media and/or journalism/Marketing experience is considered a strong asset.
• Videographer experience
• A strong portfolio and experience with no degree or diploma may be considered.
• Proficiency in Adobe’s Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Must be a creative problem solver.
• Well versed with all social media platforms and their unique requirements.
• Must have an understanding of licensing and content ownership rights.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
• You enjoy collaboration.
• A portfolio will be requested during the recruiting process.

Salary: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

• Guelph, ON N1K 1E5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• video editing: 1 year (preferred)
