Video Editor – Nostradamus Media

We are a video production agency, and our team is growing!

The mission for this role is to produce short and long-form marketing videos that use storytelling to sell e-commerce products online.

The ideal candidate will be an editor proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Creative Suite.

This person should be able to meet tight deadlines while also having a strong sense of visual and graphical aesthetics that make their videos pop.

What are the requirements?
– Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro to edit video content.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality video assets.
– Demonstrate a strong sense of visual and graphical aesthetics to improve the overall quality of our video productions.
– Work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
– Effectively communicate and collaborate in English to ensure seamless integration within the team.
– High speed internet connection with no interruptions.

As a Video Editor you will work directly with the Creative Strategist and other team members to edit commercial-quality video and audio and edit that footage into a complete video ad creative.

Ecommerce and UGC marketing background is a plus, as is spotting TikTok and Instagram trends.

Your tasks?
– Perform post-production editing, including editing, color correction, and sound design.
– Edit engaging short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, and other marketing channels.

Work with Creative Strategists test video content for brands and products.

Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):

– Must be proficient in Adobe Editing Suite – most important are Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects
– Professional experience developing, editing and delivering engaging motion graphics
– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to multitask, wear multiple hats, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
– You must be able to work well with a team as well as on your own remotely
– 2 years of editing experience
– Understanding the basics of human psychology and attention

Annual & monthly KPI bonus potential, depending on experience.
