Junior Video Editor

CULTED’s TikTok is one of the fastest-growing accounts, keeping our Gen-Z followers up to date with content relating to fashion, culture, arts, music, and everything in between. We were one of the first on TikTok to begin using voice-overs to add more depth to our video content, and this has become a trademark of CULTED’s content. Through our creative and innovative channel, we’ve cultivated a loyal and interactive audience of young followers who are genuinely inspired by and want to get involved with the content we produce. The role of Junior Video Editor involves producing fun and engaging content that’s both relevant to our feed and re-shareable.

This role will be part-time and from CULTED’s office in central London, starting on the 2nd January 2024.

Core Tasks & Duties

• Research and propose content ideas
• Research and source visuals on the internet
• Manage raw footage and files
• Edit videos on Adobe Premiere Pro
• Edit short form, long form and social video content
• Edit social stories and cut-downs
• Research and identify new trends
• Liaise with creative assistants
• Continuously develop visual language and editing style
• Attend events to film BTS content, etc.
• Support ongoing projects and attend shoots, etc.

The Successful Candidate

• At least 1 year’s Junior Video Editor experience
• Strong Premiere Pro skills
• Able to edit content to a high quality within often limited time frames
• Possess a strong awareness of the luxury and street style industry and its trends
• Possess a strong awareness of emerging designers and creatives
• A refined taste for high-quality content
• Comfortable both behind and in front of the camera
• Possess social media knowledge
• Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment under high pressure and deliver projects to extremely tight deadlines
• Impeccable grasp of the English language, written and spoken
• Able to take initiative and pitch other ideas
• Proficient with TikTok content editing tools
• Strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Outstanding organisational skills
• Ability to edit short-form, long-form and social content

Beneficial

• Media experience preferred
• Photoshop skills preferred
• Basic videographer/photographer skills preferred
