Full job description
This role is for a Full Time editor working on a personal brand and podcast.
The podcast is based in the automotive and business sectors and has features as high as 3rd in the UK charts with over 3 million views across platforms in the last 30 days making it one of the fastest growing podcasts in the UK.
The role will be to create engaging trailers for each podcast in our style to draw in the viewers and listeners.
The main edit of the episodes. Making of thumbnails and titles. Uploading the episodes onto all platforms (1 to 2 episodes a week)
– Managing social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook and creating reels for the platforms as well as managing them.
We have a podcast recording assistant however you may be asked to join on podcast shoots when required. Driving licence preferred but not essential.
Salary is dependent on experience
– Edit and create engaging video content for various platforms and purposes
– Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
– Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
– Incorporate visual effects, graphics, and animations to enhance the video
– Ensure the video meets the desired quality standards and specifications
– Manage and organize video files and assets
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing
“`Qualifications:“`
– Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
– Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
– Strong knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, etc.
– Familiarity with content management systems and video hosting platforms
– Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios
– Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team
– Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
– Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and concepts
Preferred Skills:
– Knowledge of marketing principles to create videos that align with brand strategies
– Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks
– Good understanding of english and putting together stories

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
